Meet Your Principal!

Principal Baker has dedicated over 25 years to education, starting her career as a reading paraprofessional. From there, her journey led her to roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, coordinator and associate principal.

Principal Baker is a proud alumna of St. Olaf College. She furthered her education with a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and obtained a Specialist degree and Principal licensure from the University of St. Thomas. Having grown up in the Twin Cities, she has witnessed the Shakopee community flourish and is thrilled to be a part of its educational landscape.

Principal Baker, her husband, their four children and their Goldendoodle, Emmy, make their home in Eden Prairie. During the summer months, they love exploring Minnesota parks in their camper trailer.
