Pickup & Drop Off

Thank you for following our drop-off and pick-up procedures in the upper lot — your cooperation helps keep everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly. I've linked the procedures below so you can reference if needed. We are strict because we care about the safety of the students and you and your vehicle.

If you need to change your child’s transportation plans at the end of the day, please be sure to call the office before 2:30 p.m. This allows us enough time to notify the teacher and ensures a smooth transition for your child.

Last-minute changes can be challenging during the busy end-of-day period, so we appreciate your help in respecting the time and efforts of both our teachers and front office staff.

Attendance

Students learn best when they are consistently in school and able to collaborate with their peers and teachers. However, there are times where illness and unforeseen circumstances require a student to be absent.

Shakopee Public Schools parents and guardians can submit a student absence for any student in grades K-12 online in Infinite Campus in addition to calling a school's attendance line.
